I truely want to thank you all for your support in this difficult time.I was called into the Toronto General Hospital on December 29 to recieve my emergency Pancreas organ transplant,which i have been waiting for since November 2006.I had the surgery on December 30.This transplant has made me nolonger depended on insulin and has eliminated my Diabetes.I truely from the bottom of my heart want to thank CHIN radio for there support and also everybody who has called me and sent there support.At this time i am doing very well ,but still weak from the operation,but i know in time i will be back and feeling better than before.To the greatest band and also incredable friends Joe Morgado,Carlos Caetano,Tony Botelho,Peter Sousa i thank you for being by my side though this difficult time.Also to Walter Morgado thank you so much for being there for me.

Love your music and the fact you're still standing after all these years. It's interesting to see how things have changed so much in the Portuguese community in terms of our bands and the music. Bands like Capas Negras, Sunset, Os Imigrantes, Os Lords, Os Rebeldes, Boa Esperanca, Os Sombras, just to name a few, that have all vanished.

OS PANTERAS were fantastic I enjoyed your music very much as did my husband . The weather was a bit dull in Ste-Therese Quebec but you guys turned the night into great music as the weather became clear and the rain stopped.

The singer was amazing I loved all the songs . I hope they have you play for two days instead of one at the festival next year . OS PANTERAS is by far one of the best bands I have heard , much better than Starlight who is not that great anyways . LOVE YOU GUYS !!!!

Was great hearing from you. Thanks for your website address. Really enjoyed your site and all the videos too. Glad to see you, George and Joe are still making music!! For some reason I knew you would be. Visiting your site brought back found memories of my own of my days with United Company. It was you and George I think that got me hooked up with them and my first paying gigs!!! Man those were the days. Gigging at the Portuguese Club in Mississauga or Casa Loma downtown or the Portuguese Festival at Cawthra were all great experiences that launched me into a life long love of playing music professionally. Wish I had taken some pictures!!
Well lets try and get a little jamming when I visit this summer!! Maybe you could track down Jesse and Peter Lima too? That would be a hoot!!

I attended one of the Os Panteras shows and was impressed with the talent on stage . The keyboard player was fantastic and showed his musical talent well , one of the finest players I've seen to date. The rest of the band showed the same talent all around . I wish you all the success in 2008! I have to admit that when you returned to Gatineau in the Summer of 2007 with the new vocalist, Steve, it did not have the same presence as what it was before. Os Pantares have evolved over the years... Each vocalist had his own way... his own style.

Os Pantares are not only made up of "A vocalist", but of very talented group of musicians (Joe, Wally, George and Tony), without the music, there would be not need for a vocalist.

I remember when I use to be part of the Portuguese Media, and had to cover an event where the Panteras were performing, how much fun I always had. Still have many photos of those days.

Ok guys what can I say? that was an awesome show like always! Great choice on having Steve as lead. He did a really great job. The ladies loved him. I am so glad we were all able to spend time together after the show. I have emailed the pictures and hopefully we get to see some on the site.

I just wanted to say that your show here was amazing this weekend!!! I really enjoyed having you here with us, as did the rest of the Calgary Portuguese community and the Edmonton Portuguese community. I hope too see lots of new pictures up soon, and I hope to see all of you again in the near future!!
